I'm constantly amazed at how innovative technology can be. Today I found BlueTie, a site that gives you a free, web-based email client to manage your small business. You can set up your domain and manage your users virtually, which is perfect for the modern business that may not have all their employees in the same location. There are shared calendar, contacts, and files. If you upgrade to their Pro services, it includes a sync to Outlook and POP/IMAP access, among other things.

I guess their idea is to hook you in as a small business and when you need to expand with over 20 users or need more than 5 gigs of space, you will continue to use their services. Pretty brilliant.
