I can't believe Mac laptops must go to sleep when you close the lid. There is a magnet in both pieces that when close enough, activate sleep mode. All you have to do to "deactivate" this feature is find where the magnet is, and put a piece of metal in between it when you close the lid. They warn that this could cause the laptop to overheat. Why didn't they just design it to NOT overheat? It's been a source of a lot of frustration over the 2 weeks, to say the least.
